Life is an adventure

Helen Keller once said, "life's an adventure or it is nothing at all".  I love that quote.

In the spirit of Helen Keller, Caryn and I took our children to Moab for a fun filled and adventurous weekend.  We arrived on Friday evening around 6:30.  As every parent knows, your baby generally falls asleep right when arriving to your destination...no different with our little principessa Kelsey.  :)  So while she slept we pulled over off of Potash road and Cayden and I set up a climbing route.

It was simple and perfect for an evening of climbing for the family.   We top roped and repelled.  As the night went on the sun was setting - could not have been more perfect.

The next day Caryn took the younger children and hung out in town while I went mountain biking with the older boys.  Wow,  Moab is truly the mountain bike area to go to.  So amazing.

We then hiked Arches Sand Dune Arch.

The kids, yes the parents too enjoyed playing for hours.  We then set up another rock climbing route and spent the evening climbing.

What an amazing weekend.  A friend once told me that life is about building memories.  We sure enjoyed building memories this past weekend.
